Byron Smith

Whether managing his Ford Dealership, other business interests, climbing mountains, speaking throughout North America and Europe motivating corporations, or spending time with his wife and son, Byron Smith has always set high standards for himself and others through his extremely focused and goal oriented personality.

On May 21, 2000 his triumphant statement, "I can’t go any further, I'm on top of the world," was broadcast live to millions of Canadians on CBC television as he stood on top of Mount Everest.

He has climbed the "Seven Summits", the highest mountains on each continent; Mount Everest, Aconcaqua, Kilimanjaro, Elbrus, Carstensz Pyramid, Mount McKinley, and Mount Vinson in Antarctica. This achievement makes him one of only a handful of people, and the only automotive dealer in the world, to have accomplished this feat.

Byron sits on the Board of three businesses and is active in raising funds for various Foundations and Charities.
